Inclusive Peace and Transition Initiative launch

Dr Thania Paffenholz, a co-panellist with Cat at the Sustainable Development Goals event at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and recent winner of the Wihuri International Prize, won in recognition for her work in the field of peace research, launches the Inclusive Peace and Transition Initiative (IPTI) with the goal of supporting peace and transition processes through the comparative evidence accumulated over nearly a decade of research under at the Graduate Institute in Geneva.

IPTI provides its knowledge to international and national governmental/non-governmental organisations and conflict parties. IPTI does not implement field projects, and supports policy and practice by collaborating with strategic partners engaged in mediation, peacebuilding, human rights, women’s and gender issues, development or humanitarianism.
